2025 Europe Day: Strengthen EU-Taiwan Sustainability Cooperation

2025 ECCT Europe Day dinner-1

Veolia Taiwan was honored to attend the 2025 Europe Day Dinner hosted by the European Chamber of Commerce Taiwan (ECCT), an annual event celebrating the strong partnership between Europe and Taiwan. As a global leader in hashtag#ecologicaltransformation, Veolia is committed to working closely with Taiwan to achieve its sustainability goals through innovative water, waste, and energy management solutions.

Ching-Te LAI, President of ECCT noted in his speech, that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the 'Schuman Declaration' – a declaration advocating for the creation of a European dedicated to maintaining peace by French Foreign Minister Schuman in 1950. Europe is Taiwan's third-largest trading partner, and Taiwan will actively cooperate with democratic nations, including Europe, to build alliances based on shared values and advanced technologies.

Veolia Taiwan not only partnered with Veolia Water Technologies but also invited its JV partners, including hashtag#TAHO Environmental Chairman Leo Tsai and hashtag#COWIN Chairman Tai-Ying LU, to join this prestigious event. The Minister of Environment Chi-Ming PENG further highlighted the strategic importance of foreign businesses in Taiwan.

Continuing on Veolia's hashtag#GreenUp 2024-2027 strategic vision, we will continue to contribute to Taiwan's net-zero transition through ecological innovation and cross-industry collaboration, working towards building a more sustainable future.
