The French Chamber Taiwan recently organized a business delegation to meet with Minister of Economic Affairs Ming-Hsin Kung, continuing to facilitate direct dialogue between the Taiwanese government and the French business community. Ms. Carrie Lee, Government Affairs, Marketing and Communications Director at Veolia in Taiwan, represented the company in this meeting.

The delegation, led by Antoine Aubel, Head of the Economic Department at the French Office in Taipei, exchanged views on foreign direct investment environment and industry development dynamics. During the meeting, the delegation proposed establishing a unified "Green Channel" mechanism in the infrastructure sector to streamline Class C gas permit procedures, allowing safety certifications to run in parallel with construction projects and improving administrative efficiency.
