Veolia Dances with Kaohsiung, Celebrating French Culture

🎵 French Life Festival in Kaohsiung Launches with Great Success🥐
The "2026 Kaohsiung French Festival" which concluded last weekend at the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts - Weiwuying, attracted over 160,000 participants. The event featured French music, art, markets, and culinary culture, bringing an immersive French cultural experience to the city. During the festival, the concert hall was illuminated in the colors of the French flag, highlighting the spirit of international exchange and cultural diversity in Kaohsiung.

As a French company with a long-standing presence in Taiwan, Veolia continues to engage in local development through diverse collaborations and supports cultural exchange initiatives that strengthen connections between Taiwan and France.

In addition, Veolia also supports the development of the Lycée International Français de Kaohsiung (LIFK). The school emphasizes a trilingual education approach, enabling students to develop proficiency in English, Mandarin, and French while fostering global perspectives and cross-cultural competencies for future generations.

During the event, Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai presented a certificate of appreciation to Veolia in recognition of the company’s contribution to Taiwan-France cultural and educational exchange.
